Court sentences human trafficking ring

CAN THO — Can Tho City People's Court on Monday sentenced five offenders to a total of 25 years in prison for trafficking women.
According to investigation results, they began cheating and trafficking Vietnamese women to Malaysia in early 2008.
The ring's head, Nguyen Thi Thuy, was arrested in November last year when she tried to flee the country.
